The Works Stores concessions are renowned for their excellent value and range of products based around an extensive selection of books.

They are the market leaders in the value book market and their exciting ranges enhance their brands and encourage customers to return more often.

The Works Stores opened their first garden centre concession in 1998 and the company now trades from many leading garden centres.

The Works Stores concessions have an enviable reputation for promotional products that drive custom to their hosts stores.

One of the most recognisable brands in the UK , the family friendly retailer has recently upgraded their format with the range now being; Art & Craft 25%, Kids and kids books 25%, Books, stationery and gifts 45%, Seasonal 5%. To keep the offer fresh and interesting at least 150 new lines delivered and sold in stores every week.

Click and Collect is a growing part of the proposition attracting many new customers to locations every day taking advantage of the free parking offered at most centres.

Outcome:

SFRC has worked on behalf of The Works since 2008 in conjunction with First Franchise.

 

The Works opened in 10 Garden Centres in 2017/18.

 

Within 2018/19 The Works have opened in a further 3 locations, by the end of their financial year we will have opened in another 3 centres.

 

In total The Works now trade from 46 concession spaces within the UK of which SFRC has secured 15 sites on behalf of The Works.

What We Did:

SFRC continues today working on behalf of The Works, securing space within garden centre locations and other suitable destination sites.  SFRC provides an all-round service, producing marketing packs to forward to prospective locations, cold calls to secure space, coordinates site visit meetings, attends meetings, produces negotiation documents and is on hand throughout the installation process, being first point of contact for any queries until The Works take occupation on site.
