Sue Franks is the Managing Director of SF Retail Consultancy a company specialising in retail and concession consultancy.

SF Retail Consultancy was launched in 2014. Initially to work with retail brands requiring concession expertise to develop and create their own concession models. In addition to assisting brands with concession experience in securing new space within retail locations around the UK.

Sue started her career as a travel agent with TUI Holidays, formerly Lunn Poly and Thomson Holidays.  Undertaking a variety of management roles.  In 2005 joining Coventry Airport management team as Customer Services and Estate Manager, where she developed her passion in working with concession partners.   In 2008 Sue joined Wyevale Garden Centres to develop her skills within concessions and acquisitions. Sue’s role was to manage the existing tenant portfolio and new business development. Securing new retail partners for the group’s estate, before being headed hunted by First Franchise in 2010.

Brands install into retail venues under a variety of concession models; manned, part manned, unmanned and short term.  Sue was responsible for developing the unmanned concession model within the garden centre sector, installing over 80 unmanned concession within a 4-week timeline.

Since the launch of SFRC the company has worked with or provided concession support to over 30 retail brands   From national brands to independent local brands looking for new avenues to market to launch their first retail venture.

In 2015 SFRC launched their ‘Retail Letting Services’ concept. Working directly with landlords and owners who wanted to install concession partners/brands into their locations.

Now with over 14 years concession experience. Sue and her team have a wealth of experience in securing new sites for their concession partners, working with retail locations to expand their brand offers and developing concession models to suit their client’s requirements.
