Silica Lodge

Roy and Debby Holmes took over Silica Lodge in 1994, back then it was a small nursery consisting of a small greenhouse and flower beds. Since then Silica Lodge has gained a reputation for offering a fantastic range of plants you’d expect from a traditional garden centre.

With greater involvement in recent years from Roy & Debby’s son Mark & Daughter in law Stefanie the Garden Centre has grown beyond recognition from the early days as a small nursery. Silica Lodge still manages to keep the traditional family run garden centre ethos but now offers so much more than just plants!

Following an extensive programme of development work in 2012/2013 Silica Lodge now offers a variety of fantastic products and as part of the development work Silica Lodge now boasts a superb Coffee Shop offering high quality home cooked meals, snacks and delicious treats!
